This Russian sow was killed by Wayne during the 2002-2003 gun season in Louisiana.
The sow was harvested in a grudge match! Wayne had been hunting and patterning a really nice 6 point and on this afternoon was watching him following a doe through a heavy thicket.
The buck was about 60 yards off in some heavy cover and Wayne was waiting for him ease into an open spot when this sow, 2 piglets and a boar came grunting and running through the thicket!
The buck turned and hauled it in the other direction so Wayne dropped this big sow. Better eating but the missed opportunity on the buck really ate at him!
This pig turned out to be number 4 of 5 killed that season. The other 4 were taken with his Mathews bow.
